As a family owned business the experience and technical skill you get with ConXraying is a cut above the rest as the founder of the business and head Technician has over 15 years experience and knowledge in Concrete Scanning and locating with a further 10 years experience working in the building construction industry.
Concrete x-raying is our specialty and this sets us apart from other businesses offering concrete x-raying as an ‘add-on’ to a concrete cutting service.
Having separate contractors carry out your concrete x-raying and concrete cutting ensures the integrity of your site. Reporting remains unbiased and there is no conflict of interest.
Our wide experience and knowledge means we can interpret the data from our GPR system and use our construction experience to provide you with the best information possible onsite and in our reports which are completed onsite and emailed directly to the client and Engineers upon request.

What Can You Expect When We Arrive On Site?
After site induction, we will request guidance regarding where the client/concrete cutter wishes to cut/core. We require an exact marking of the location prior to our investigation with clear access.
Once the location has been identified we then use our GPR system to mark out structures within the concrete slab / wall. If the structures clash with the desired core hole or cut we will suggest a preferred location in order to prevent contact between cutting equipment and the structures within the concrete.
With the latest locating device the Hilti PX10 Transpointer we will identify the exact location that the core hole or cut will penetrate the underside of the slab which reduces the chances of the cut/core ending above objects such as air-conditioning ducting, electrical cable trays, plumbing, fire sprinkler pipes etc etc.
Following the investigation we produce an immediate on-site report with photos for each hole.
